our Story
My grandpa was a carpenter by trade and a superintendent of a local firm where he specialized in high-rise construction, commercial buildings, and residential homes in the Kingston area. Early on my dad told me I had grandpa’s “gift of carpentry” as we were always building something together. That child like excitement of creating things with my hands started a journey that I still love today.
While in high school, I was given the opportunity to enrol in the Build a House Program. This was one of the best decisions I ever made as it solidified my desire to become a carpenter. This program earned me a high skills major and all the certificates needed to work in construction safely. From there, I attended St. Lawrence College where I completed a 3 phase carpentry program, a 4 year apprenticeship, challenged the interprovincial red seal exam, and became a licensed carpenter.
For a couple years I owned and operated my own business but I knew something was missing and felt it was time. My fathers forever dream was to build homes alongside his son and thus the Reno Kings was founded. So our journey began, creating homes of beauty that families can be proud of for generations to come.
Since its inception in 2017, Reno Kings has drawn on the expertise and skills from three generations of exceptional builders. Our mission is to provide the highest customer satisfaction by using the latest and most innovative products to create state of the art builds, showcasing our craftsmanship and attention to detail. We pride ourselves in establishing a fully transparent and trustworthy relationship with our clients which allows them to walk through their building experience with ease.
HCRA Licensed & Tarion Registered Builder
At Reno Kings, we believe building your home should come with complete confidence. That’s why we are a licensed builder with the Home Construction Regulatory Authority (HCRA) and a registered builder with Tarion Warranty Corporation.
Being HCRA licensed means we are fully authorized to build and sell new homes in Ontario, and that we meet strict provincial standards for technical expertise, financial responsibility, and ethical business practices. In short, you’re working with a qualified professional who is held to the highest level of accountability.
Every home we build is also enrolled with Tarion, providing you with mandatory new home warranty protection. This coverage safeguards your investment and ensures that your home is backed by a structured warranty program, along with access to independent support should any issues arise.
